The Axalp is situated on a terrace high above Lake Brienz. The family-friendly ski area is known for its often good powder snow and relaxed operation. Adventure hiking trail with around 100 carved figures from Brienz: the well-maintained hiking trail starts on the Axalp at the upper car park. After an approximately 1-hour hike through the varied alpine landscape, you will reach the idyllic Hinterburgseeli.
